Project managed the development, field trial, and deployment for the WinEyeQÔ VoIP QoS (Quality of Service) product; from initiation phase though market launch and post-sale customer support. The WinEyeQ is a VOIP voice quality measurement device that connects to the customers LAN. Provided installation support for “Test and Turn-up” of new customer voice and data AT&T WAN access circuits.

·               Provided leadership and project managed initial development and incremental features of the WinEyeQ product. (documented requirements and scope, established and tracked development milestones, facilitated cross-functional team meetings, communicated progress to stakeholders, controlled risks, and tracked project budget – utilizing PMI methodology).

·               Accountable for maintaining network data security; configuring firewalls and implementing secure, encrypted IPSec tunnels/TLS communications between remoted WinEyeQ device located in the customer’s network, across the WAN, and to the collector servers thru an infrastructure of multiple AT&T networks.

·               Resolved all AT&T IP cloud network issues that occurred during the field-trial (firewalls, IP connectivity, IP address assignment).

·               Coordinated changes to AT&T back-office OS (Operational Support) systems and administered centralized servers to process call detail records from the WinEyeQ’s that are remotely located on business customer sites.

Managed  5ESS SWITCH™ “trunking” portfolio of network switching products.  Managed ROI, P&L, COGS reduction, lifecycle issues, supply-chain issues, environmental standards compliance, and operational field issues for multiple global products.  Specific responsibility was focused on the T1 / E1, SONET / SDH, IP facility (VOIP and data) and remote carrier access systems, hardware/software sold to wireline / wireless service providers.

 

·               Attained product management certification through the Wharton School of Business program.

·               Constructed business cases to determine financial potential (NPV) of new product ideas and presented to senior management for evaluation. Results included profitable, new products brought to market. Determined development costs, addressable market segment size, and established cost/price targets.

 Pre-Sales Applications Engineer

Supported sales teams with software ordering tools to configure and bid equipment for the North American market. I communicated pre-market product information with early documentation and sales team training. Supported sales teams with responses to RFP(s) and customer inquiries.
